Mohanlal recently arrived in Sri Lanka for the film's eighth shooting schedule. He received a traditional welcome from Sri Lankan tourism authorities. A video of his arrival, shared by Ishanta Ratnayake, went viral.

According to Manorama Online, the Sri Lankan schedule includes key scenes with Mohanlal, Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, and Darshana Rajendran.

The film, potentially titled Patriot, is directed by Mahesh Narayanan and boasts a star-studded cast. Mammootty plays the central character, with Mohanlal in a pivotal role. The cast also includes Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, Nayanthara, Revathy, Darshana Rajendran, and Zarin Shihab.
