Amitabh Bachchan Hails Working with Son Abhishek as a 'Great Blessing'
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has shared screen space with numerous prominent actors, recently revealed that collaborating with his son, Abhishek Bachchan, has been one of his most valuable learning experiences and a true blessing.
In a heartfelt blog post, Amitabh shared a photo featuring himself and Abhishek, where Abhishek appears to be explaining something while Amitabh listens attentively. The image suggests they are in a studio, with headphones resting on Abhishek’s lap, likely during a break from a shoot. Details about the specific project remain undisclosed.
Amitabh wrote on his blog: “The joy of creation .. surpasses all else .. they that can, are blessed .. spending evenings and late nights with them is a learning in itself ..I learn each day... It is a blessing .... when Son and Father create together .. it's the biggest learning and the biggest blessing (sic).”
Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan announced his upcoming film, "Kaalidhar Laapata," on June 18. This poignant narrative explores themes of second chances. Directed by Madhumita and supported by Zee Studios and Emmay Entertainment, the film features Daivik Bhagela and Zeeshan Ayyub in significant roles.
Set against the backdrop of rural India, the story centers around Kaalidhar (played by Abhishek), an elderly man who decides to leave after discovering his family's plans to abandon him.
Along his journey, he encounters Ballu, a spirited 8-year-old orphan, marking the beginning of an unexpected adventure.
Ballu’s infectious enthusiasm and curiosity reignite Kaalidhar's own zest for life. Together, they embark on an impromptu road trip, fulfilling items from a bucket list along the way.
"Kaalidhar Laapata" is scheduled to premiere on July 4.
Abhishek Bachchan’s most recent appearance was in "Housefull 5," directed by Tarun Mansukhani. The extensive cast includes Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nargis Fakhri, among others.
